This link goes to a story posted on my other blog.  It is one of the most affirmative stories I've encountered in the past several years, one of two honest, persistent men who performed a small but very meaningful good deed.

Jalen Rose on Faith

A few years ago I was driving my daughter to school and listening to ESPN Radio's 'Mike and Mike in the Morning' show.  Jalen Rose was substitute hosting for one of the Mikes and the conversation turned to JR's dad, whom he had never met.  The story was so fascinating that after dropping off my daughter, I found a side street and pulled over and parked so I could listen to the story with full attention.

The video above is from that show and is the conversation I heard, which would have been interesting enough if it had merely been about the relationship between Rose and his estranged father.  But JR's thoughts on faith took it to another level and gave me an appreciation for him that I never before had.

Matthew 21:21-22

21 Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.22 You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”
